DXWG Use Cases and Requirements
W3C Dataset Exchange Working group has just released the first version of their Use Cases and Requirements
There is an increasing number of public sector datasets available online. The W3C Data Catalog Vocabulary (DCAT) [1] defines a standard way to describe your datasets so that they can be found and used by interested parties.
VRE4EIC is helping to support work on the next generation of DCAT with provision for application profiles and other improvements, and we’re pleased with the news that the W3C Dataset Exchange Working Group [2] has recently published a Working Group Note setting out use cases and requirements [3]. The aim is to boost interoperability between services, e-infrastructures and virtual research environments.
